 Statutory Payments 2010-2011Employees that satisfy the qualifying conditions are entitled to: Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) £79.15 per week from the fourth consecutive day of sickness to a maximum of 28 weeks, this is unchanged from the 2009/10 amount. Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) 6 weeks at 90% of employee's average weekly earnings, followed by 33 weeks at the lesser of 90% of average weekly earnings or £124.88 per week
